What makes The Hair Grip so special?
As an enhancement, we've extended the velcro for smaller heads, doubled the stitching and added texture so it’s neater and tighter (doesn’t roll), and placed the white label on the inside so it doesn't show. It also prevents wigs from slipping up the back of the head! For the lace band, we’ve added a silicone strip for added grip :)
Without stretching, the size large band is 24 inches long, size medium band is 22” long and size small is 21” long. The middle is about 2” wide and 1.5” at the ends. The soft velcro is 6” long and the hard velcro is 1” long.

The Hair Grip is a velour band. The Hair Grip material is 100% polyester. The embroidery thread is 35% cotton + 65% polyester.

Can I use heat on my wig?
It depends on the fiber. Traditional synthetic wigs should not be exposed to heat unless the manufacturer specifically identifies the fiber as heat safe. Heat protectant does not make a non-heat-safe synthetic wig safe for heat. Heat-friendly synthetic and human hair products have different care requirements, so always follow the manufacturer's recommendations for your particular piece.
How often should I wash my wig?
A general guideline is approximately every 6–10 full-day wears, although the right schedule depends on how frequently you wear the wig, your lifestyle, product buildup, and the manufacturer's recommendations. If your wig looks, smells, or feels like it needs to be washed, it probably does.
What products should I use on my wig?
Use products designed for your particular wig fiber. If your wig contains synthetic fiber, look for shampoos, conditioners, detanglers, and styling products specifically approved for synthetic or alternative hair. Products designed for biological hair are not necessarily appropriate for wigs.
How long will a wig last?
There is no single expiration date for a wig. You may hear general estimates of approximately 3–6 months for a synthetic wig worn daily, but lifespan varies considerably based on the fiber, length, friction, frequency of wear, lifestyle, and how the wig is maintained. Proper care can make a significant difference.
