Return, Cancellation & Shipping Reminder Policy

At Tia Maria Wigs, we understand that shopping for helper hair online can sometimes feel overwhelming. We encourage customers to reach out with questions before purchasing so we can help guide you toward the best option for your needs.

Return Policy Overview

Eligible approved returns receive STORE CREDIT added directly to the customer account associated with the original purchase email address. We do not offer refunds back to the original form of payment.

Customers may complete up to 4 approved returns per calendar year.

To request a return:
• Return requests must be submitted within 7 calendar days of delivery
• Returns must be postmarked within 20 days of the original delivery date
• A Return Request Form must be completed on tmwigs.com
• Returns sent without authorization will not be accepted

Approved returns:
• Receive store credit added to the customer account connected to the purchase email
• Are subject to a 15% restocking and processing fee per item
• Do not include refunded shipping costs or taxes
• May take up to 14 business days to process

Store credit:
• Can be used toward future purchases
• Expires automatically after 1 year
• Must be used with the same email address connected to the original order

To qualify for a return, items must be:
• Brand new
• Unworn
• Unaltered
• Odor-free
• Returned with ALL original packaging, tags, netting, inserts, tissue paper, and box/package

Please note:
Wigs that have been brushed, combed, shaken out, styled, altered, had lace cut, exposed to odors, or manipulated in any way are no longer eligible for return.

Final Sale / Non-Returnable Items

The following items are NOT eligible for return:

• Live sale purchases
• Clearance or open-box items
• Sample sale items
• Discontinued wigs
• Human hair wigs & toppers
• Toppers & extensions
• Wig grips & wig caps
• Care products & styling products
• Hot tools, combs, brushes, & accessories
• Jewelry, headbands, clips, etc.
• Customized or altered wigs
• Vivica Fox & Amore Mio items
• Multiple quantities of the same item purchased in one order

Cancellation Policy

Once an order is placed, it cannot be canceled.

Shipping Reminder

Please review the full Shipping Policy before placing your order.

Important reminders:
• Standard processing windows are typically 3–5 business days
• Business days do not include Saturdays, Sundays, postal holidays, or bank holidays
• Orders placed after Friday at 3:00 p.m. EST may not begin processing until the following business week
• Some items may require additional processing or manufacturer shipping time

Shipping timelines are estimates and are not guaranteed.

Defective Items

If you believe your item is defective:
• A Return Request Form must be completed within 3 calendar days of delivery
• Photos may be required
• Defects are determined by the manufacturer, not Tia Maria Wigs
